Pop, R&B/Soul, Emo/Emo Rock
A blend of RnB, Pop, and the gritty riffs of early 2000s emo is the tonal recipe that evokes the clever word play, blunt sass, and heart wrenching introspection behind Cindë’s lyrics. The Toronto native began playing guitar, performing live and writing songs by the age of 12 with a deep love for bands like Green Day, Weezer, MCR etc. After spending majority of her teens in touring alternative bands, she decided to pursue an education in music business management at Harris Institute in Toronto. Graduating with honours, Cindë then went on to become a member of the CP Records/Sal & Co./The Weeknd management company. Her love and appreciation for Hip Hop/RnB grew immanently with this life changing position. However, her upper hand in understanding the business was a consistent shadow to her desire to pursue her personal music career. Fast forward to 2019, when her debut radio single “Hittin’ It” peaked at #12 on the Top 40/CHR anglophone charts across Canada and its respective self-directed music video was steadily in the Stingray Vibe Top 10 for over 3 months! This was immediately followed up by a feature/writing placement on the Morello Twins single “Bipolar Hearts” distributed by Higher Reign/Sony Music Canada and placed in Nicky Romero’s “Favourites” playlist on Spotify. With a new batch of unreleased music and countless writing placements on the way, 2020 proves to be an exciting year for Cindë.
