Tarek Ghreri: Palestinian Syrian Musician, based in Toronto, Guitar Flamenco performer, teacher, producer and composer. With over 18 years of experience in performing at concerts and festivals across the Levant and 10 years of teaching music, Tarek merges his passion for Flamenco music with his Arab origin in creating a unique blend of two musical worlds. He founded and leads the Flamenco Arabia project and performs with and leads a number of local groups, including Diar "دْيَار ", Massyr “ مَسير “, the Canadian Arabic Orchestra, and more, in addition to continuing to teach music. In 2015, Ghriri began to use his musical skills to help children who suffer from trauma to express themselves through music, rhythm, and song, co-creating Music From Hope, which he worked on in Syria and Lebanon before emigrating to Toronto, where the work continues. Participated in many concerts and festivals between Syria like (Damascus international festival), Lebanon like (@Masrah Al Madina, Radio Beirut and Metro Al Madina Theaters) also Toronto ( Tablao Flamenco Toronto, Isabel Bader Theatre (U of T Campus) with Canadian Arabic Orchestra, Duende Flamenco Festival Aga Khan Museum and the Festival of Arabic Music and Arts, kultrún world music festival and Tirgan festival. Worked with many music schools between Syria, Lebanon and Toronto. Nour Kaadan Syrian Artist Started Music career in 2010, Damascus – Syria. Plays Classical middle eastern rhythms and Flamenco rhythms, on Cajon, preformed in Lebanon since 2014 and then in Toronto since 2017 . In 2015, started to use musical skills to help children who suffer Trauma, to express themselves through music and rhymes and songs. Facilitated workshops in Syrian refugee camp In Lebanon, using music as a therapeutic activity to help children in or from war zones to overcome their trauma. Arrived to Toronto in 2017, started playing Cajon with Arabic and Spanish music, Founding member of Diar ديار band, and founder of Music from Hope.
