Me Time is a DJ, artist, event producer and community advocate who engages dance music as a catalyst for social change. People say never trust a skinny chef, Me Time says never trust a DJ who doesn’t dance. Me Time’s infectious energy behind the decks is known to ignite dancefloors. With a 10-year acting career under her belt (she played Liberty Van Zandt in 10 seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation), she’s a seasoned performer who brings electricity to every stage she graces. Fresh off her festival debuts at Tomorrowland Belgium and Harvest Festival, Me Time has become a local favourite known for genre-mashing and perfectly-time dancefloor stormers. From headlining underground parties in Toronto to selling out her monthly dance parties EveryBody and Bass Witch, she is a champion of safer spaces that celebrate sobriety and moderation, promote diverse underrepresented artists and hold intentional space for all bodies to move freely. Me Time started her own DJ school last year to make learning to DJ more accessible, inclusive and fun. Through interactive workshops, events and now, online courses, Selecta School aims to create more equity on lineups and showcase the diverse talent Toronto has to offer. Through all her work on and off the dancefloor, Me Time works to live and share life in full abunDANCE.
